I have lived and worked in Greenville, S.C., Big Piney, Wyomming (near Jackson Hole), but my heart has always been here in Haywood County.
Most of my career I have worked at Haywood Regional Medical Center - 16 years in the Emergency Room and the last 8 years in PACU(Post Anesthesia Care Unit). I have enjoyed taking care the people in my community, and I have also loved watching my old friends and their children growing up.
I live in Henson Cove on a farm where we raise
cattle, have ducks, and a catfish pond. I have a
Great Pyrenees named Big Boy, a collie named Shay, and a cat named Lucky.
At present I am staying busy working, taking care of my 86 yr old Mom, and building a log house at Lake Chatuge.
I love and am a member of Bethel Baptist Church, and I thank the Lord for all he has blessed me with. I can't believe it's been 30 years!
