As we’ve moved through November – from All Saints’ Day the 1st, to Veterans’ Day the 11^th, to Thanksgiving today the 27^th – we give thanks for all our blessings especially our classmates who’ve preceded us in death (46 – see “In Memory” tab) and those who have and do serve in our United States Military (19 – per Class Profiles).  We also give thanks for the students who follow us at Pisgah!

The first Pisgah High School Class of 1979 Memorial Scholarship ($2,000) established last year at our 45^th Class Reunion was awarded earlier this year – May 14^th - to Jake Lowery.  He is now attending Anderson University, majoring in Business and playing football (https://autrojans.com/sports/football/roster/jake-lowery/4799).  Congratulations and best wishes to Jake!

$1,800 in five-year pledges were received toward this 2025 scholarship and $200 in one-time donations raised it to $2,000.  As a reminder to those who pledged an annual gift through 2029 (5 years), those can be paid anytime, but please by year-end!

For any who haven’t pledged and donated this year, please help us if you can, get to the $2,000 mark!  We need $200 more to do that this year.  And we can certainly go beyond that and help more students!  Remember the scholarship gives preference to otherwise qualified descendants of our class, then to other qualified Pisgah seniors (visit "Class Memorial Scholarship" tab in left column for more information.)
